New CNN Website Brought to You by BlackBerry…
RIM has really put themselves all over the place in terms of sponsorships. The latest was brought to my attention by Gregory. When you head to the www.CNN.com website you will be confronted by a full page overlay advertisement for the new CNN brought to you by BlackBerry… You can probably find it just by visiting www.cnn.com from your desktop but I put up a video Gregory sent up at this link on YouTube.
Now this is some serious promotion. Comparing that to their recent U2 Tour sponsorship and it makes you wonder what gives RIM more bang for their buck. Either way it is great to see RIM putting themselves out there to change their image as a business-only tool. Still it makes me wonder what’s next… Maybe a Family Guy episode?
