Boingo Wireless claims to be the worlds largest network of Wi-Fi hotspots. They have just released Boingo Mobile for BlackBerry which lets you authenticate to their hotspots from your BlackBerry. I cannot say if it was possible to do this before using the built in client but this is Boingo’s officially supported solution.
You can download the client OTA at this link or also find it in their Download Center. The client is still in beta but gives you one click access to over 100,000 hotspots Boingo runs. Right now the app only runs on the BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Curve 8320, and BlackBerry Bold smartphones but support for more devices is coming soon.
If you give it a shot let us know what you think!

Wow I always hated showing up in an airport and only finding Boingo on my BB wifi scan, but with this app now I cared to look further and they are available the places I fly to most often. I think I’ll try them out for $8 on my next trip.

FAIL! When I try to create a new account within the BB app, and only got a blank screen. Tried more than once. You don’t want new customers???

Fail #2: I tried to sign up online since I couldn’t in the app, and my city name has 5 letters in it and the form gave me an error saying city names have to have 6 characters or more. WTF???? What if my city has 5 letters or less? You won’t create an account for me?
Fail #3: Read the reviews of our other users have felt about them: http://reviews.cnet.com/wireless/boingo-wireless/4852-7961_7-31568604.html?tag=mncol;psum

Yet when I travel to such places I’d honestly like a quality service I can trust for wifi
