Jason let me know that OS 4.7.0.167 that leaked earlier for the 9530 Storm is now officially available from Iusacell. Not sure why this is lagging so far behind in versions from the 9500 but still it is nice to see things are starting to catch up.

so i have always deleted the vendor file. What is the purpose of this. What if i do not delete it. Will it not install ?

It is the file that Desktop Manager references to see if the OS is made for your carrier. When you delete that file then desktop manager will install the OS on any carrier

anybody know a fix for 5.0 OS. I get No Circut/No Channel Available message on mine. I really like the OS. Everything works great, just cant call out or receive calls.
I have a 9530 Storm unlocked on the Tmobile network.
