I am not much of a Hip Hop fan myself but Dalia noticed this new app in the App World from VH1 that looks pretty cool. It lets you get in on the details of VH1’s Def Jam Honors. It includes everything from streaming clips to news to following their twitter feed.

From the description:

Every year VH1 salutes rap’s musical, political, and cultural impact with Hip Hop Honors. This year, VH1 celebrates the incredible legacy of Def Jam Records.

For 25 years Def Jam created the stars that pushed hip hop culture forward, including LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Rihanna.

Tracy Morgan returns as host and celebrating 25 Years of Def Jam will be performances by a superstar lineup including: DMX, Eminem, Fabolous, Gym Class Heroes, Ja Rule, Kid Rock, Ludacris, Mary J. Blige, Method Man, Onyx, Public Enemy, Redman, Rick Ross, Scarface, The Roots, Trey Songz, Warren G and Young Jeezy.

And now you can follow all the action from your BlackBerry®!
