Quite a few readers let me know that Dictionary.com has released a free dictionary and thesaurus app for BlackBerry. Nogal wat lezers laat me weten dat Dictionary.com een gratis woordenboek en thesaurus app voor BlackBerry heeft vrijgegeven. They claim to be the first free dictionary app for BlackBerry and look pretty positive so far. Zij beweren dat de eerste gratis woordenboek app voor BlackBerry en kijk vrij positief tot nu toe. The app just formats the Dictionary.com website results to work on your BlackBerry with features like recent search terms and the ability to sign up for the Word A Day service.     App World offered Version 1.0, but said not available for Storm. App Wereld aangeboden Versie 1.0, maar zei niet beschikbaar voor Storm.
    Tom's link offered a Version 0.2.252 to my Storm. Link Tom's aangeboden Versie 0.2.252 aan mijn Storm.

    And all the mentions have bumped it to #3 on Top Free Downloads in App World (behind App World itself and BBM5). En al de melding hebben bumped op # 3 on Top Free Downloads in App Wereld (achter App wereld zelf en BBM5).

This page also provides a browser-based implementation that does not require the installation of an app. Deze pagina bevat ook een browser-gebaseerde implementatie die niet vereist de installatie van een app.

    Those dictionaries come in very handy. Deze woordenboeken zijn er in erg handig. For the E71 I own Nokia also offers free dictionaries. Voor de Nokia E71 ik zelf biedt ook gratis woordenboeken. Although their app is not as extended as this application. Hoewel hun app niet zo uitgebreid als deze toepassing. Of course anything free is good! Natuurlijk is alles vrij goed is!

    I will not be downloading this app since the Curve already has a search option for dictionary.com in the browser search bar. Ik zal niet downloaden van deze app sinds de Curve heeft al een optie voor zoeken dictionary.com in de browser zoekbalk. I would download the dictionary if it stored definitions locally (on the removable card), and it had the ability to select text in any other app to look it up. Ik download het woordenboek als het lokaal opgeslagen definities (op de verwijderbare kaart), en het had de mogelijkheid om tekst in een andere app selecteren om het opzoeken.

    Has anyone else had a problem with a “cannot connect to server” error? Heeft iemand anders een probleem had met een "geen verbinding kan maken met de server" fout? The install completes and the BB reboots, but this error comes up immediately upon starting the app. De installatie is voltooid en de BB herstart, maar deze fout komt direct na het starten van de app. I'm using a BB 8120 and I've tried downloading from both appworld and dictionary.com. Ik gebruik een BB 8120 en ik heb geprobeerd te downloaden van zowel appworld en dictionary.com.
