Talk about an interesting announcement from AT&T caught by Engadget. They have decided to announce the BlackBerry 9000 Bold in white for AT&T on Facebook at this link. The scheduled release date is Oct 18th which is right around the corner… Anybody planning on picking one up instead of waiting for the BlackBerry 9700 Bold? At least the Oct 18th launch is earlier than the previous Oct 21st rumored launch.

I work for a phone company and my at&t higher up I deal with told me the white bold is not being released nation wide, its only being tested in two markets. Im in the Tampa Bay market and we aren’t one of them. She didn’t say which two markets are getting them but I see her tomorrow and I will ask her for specific markets
