Tafasa Releases Free Dots Game for BlackBerry Storm

tafasa-dots Tafasa let us know about their recent release of Dots for the Storm. This new game kind of reminds me of Netwalk from BEIKS with an interesting twist. The purpose of the game is to connect the dots until you complete a box which earns you a point and an extra turn. The game is ad supported and show ads on the bottom of the screen for other Tafasa applications.

Check it out at this link

From the product description:

Now you can play this classic pencil & paper game right on your BlackBerry! This fun game is easy to understand and enjoyable for all ages. Starting with an empty grid of dots, players take turns, adding a single horizontal or vertical line between two unjoined adjacent dots. A player who completes the fourth side of a box earns one point and takes another turn. The game ends when no more lines can be placed. The winner of the game is the player with the most points. All you have to do is click on the space between adjacent dots to add a line connecting them. Enjoy the fun graphics and unlimited number of move undos while you improve your skills against the computer or defeat your friend!

  1. Sounds like you never played this on paper? I remember playing in the 70’s and I’m sure it dates back longer than that.

This version for Storm is very hard to play if you have big fingertips. There is no moving preview of where your line is going to be placed so many errors made. A preview that followed your finger around would make this far more enjoyable to play without so many undo’s.
But it is a very nice free time killer.
