There have been quite a few apps that prompt you to save a contact to your address book after a call but AddContactX adds a few twists to that model. Even their own more expensive AddOnis application lets you do the same thing. Still AddContactX has a specific focus that I know quite a few mobile salesmen will appreciate. At its $2.99 price point the app is a pretty good deal but I really wish RIM would bake these little tricks into the OS as options…

I could really use this add, i hated it when i get a call and i want to call back later but i have gotten so many calls. The call log only display a curtain number of calls. I could use this app for sure.

Now it is not all that much more work than the fast draw contests.
I cheated and wrote a little app that automatically chooses winners on the date. Its truly random (or as best as it can get) by using the RANDOM select statement in MySQL.

This application is something I’ve been looking for in a long time. It’ll certainly save a lot of time while managing my phonebook, and help me to improve my productivity, as I’ll be able to save the phone number and assign the name of the patient or parent to it.
