I just hear from one of our sources that things are moving along with the upcoming Storm revision. They are telling me that Vodafone will be getting the BlackBerry 9520 Storm on October 15th and will not be launching the 9520 in the US.
They are also telling me that Verizon should be getting the BlackBerry 9550 Storm on the 25th of October. Some of these Verizon 9550’s have already arrived at certain Best Buys. Both of those dates are really soon and I know quite a few people who cannot wait to unload their old Storms.
Kyle over at BBCool also managed to get his hands on one of the 9550 Verizon Storms and gave it a little review. In other good new the BoyGenius also found out from one of his contacts that the BlackBerry 9700 Bold will be coming to T-Mobile on Nov 11th while AT&T is getting theirs on October 21st.
Talk about a crazy couple of weeks if this pans out! I have not been able to confirm those exact dates with a second source but they seem solid from what I have been hearing this last month.

If true this is good news. But as always I’ll take this with a healthy dose of “yeah right!” Lol.

What kind of source says Voda is not bringing the 9520 to the US? Duh. Voda offers service WHERE in the US?

David what that means is that no carrier is planning on bringing a GSM storm to the US like AT&T or T-Mobile. Which means the 9520 is not coming to the US so far…
Sadly I just heard back that the 15th date for Vodafone might slip… Sucks

Wow. No 9520 coming to ATT is HUGE news and contrary to what’s been rumored all over the BB blogosphere! If true that shows ATT truly is tying their smartphone future to the Apple bandwagon.

Does this mean if I can get the Vodaphone GSM version, I can use it on att’s network? If so, will it have GPS, Wifi, and 3G enabled?
