Have had no problems at all with it, very functional and much better than BB Messenger. I also have Yahoo IM and Live Messenger installed, both of which perform very well. The idea is that you would have a convenience key set to KBLauncher so you can start it from anywhere. I would not want to keep an app resident, eating up memory without doing anything.
