scoremobile12 With the new NFL season starting ScoreMobile has just updated their free sports app. This new version 1.2 is an incremental upgrade but it adds to its coverage of most major sports including the NFL, NASCAR, MLS, CFL, NCAAB, NCAAF, MLB, NHL, NBA, and PGA info.

Version 1.2 adds:

  • Tracking of Favorite Leagues – users will be able to manage which sports they choose to see and hide on their device making tracking and staying up to date on their favorite teams easier than ever before
  • Addition of Game Reminders – with two quick clicks, users will be able to add a game to their BlackBerry(R) Calendar so favorite games will never be missed
  • Optimization of Navigation and Display – users can now take advantage of speedier data display and simplified navigation
  • Support for the BlackBerry 9630 Tour & BlackBerry 8520 Curve

The app still provides up-to-the-minute sports scores for the leagues they cover. They also give you access to fantasy player stats, live blogs, previews, recaps, odds and league standings. It also supports practically every BlackBerry from the 8XXX series up except for the 8700.

You can get it in the App World at this link or read more at this link.

  2. OTA link is: http://score.firemobile.com/dl/sm.php

I don’t like having to go to App World for everything. I like having a Bookmarked OTA URL.
