BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 Caught on Camera – 9550 Weighs In

blackberry-9520-2 The Storm 2 is getting an amazing amount of leakage recently thanks to owners of prerelease devices like salomondrin. The latest is from the BoyGenius who managed to get his hands on a BlackBerry 9520 (GSM) Storm 2 which he shows off in all its camera happy glory. Check out all the pics at this link.

Kevin @ CrackBerry  also shattered the hopes of many Storm 2 hopefuls by weighing the BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 (CDMA). Turns out that the 9550 weighs slightly more than the original BlackBerry 9530 Storm. Its a shame that RIM could not shave some of the hefty bulk off the original Storm but I guess Wi-Fi weighs quite a bit. :)

So who is jonesing for a Storm 2 fix?

  1. The green phone button just popped off my 5th Storm the other day so #6 is on its way. Too bad too cuz this one had otherwise been pretty solid.

Oh, and I could care less about the weight. I prefer the “heft” of my Storm over my Tour. Tour is a far better device, but Storm “feels” more substantive in the hand.

And you bet, with as many Storm’s as I’ve been through I am for sure jonesing for a Storm 2. October can’t come soon enough for me.

I want to know who is getting the 9520 (GSM) Storm 2. Can I dream it will be T-Mo?
