BerryBuzz 2.1.22 Adds Support for IM Clients

berrybuzz21 BerryBuzz is a very popular application that lets you customize your LED color and repeat notifications for many alerts on your BlackBerry. Tom let me know that they just updated their application to support all the RIM IM clients and a few other features including:

  • Added support for ICQ
  • Added support for AOL Instant Messenger
  • Added support for Windows Live Messenger
  • Added support for Google Talk
  • Added support for Yahoo! Messenger
  • Added support for Level 1 messages
  • Added charging indicator LED
  • Added LED indicator when battery fully charged (automatically turns off after customizable interval)
  • Added battery low indicator with customizable threshold
  • Added alert when battery full

Its kind of cool that you can now be alerted when your battery is full. This is made more useful since the app has the ability to set times when it will not alert you like in the middle of the night while your phone is charging. Check it out in the store at this link for $5.95 and you can pickup the upgrade at the same link if you already own a copy.

  1. Today I upgraded my BerryBuzz and it’s really wonderful how you controls different alerts… Support for Battery charging and battery level is such a welcome addition… I think its a must have application for all the BB users.

  2. yea its a nice app and pfluger has done a great job on letting us beta testers test this and all his other apps :).

  3. The best app I have paid for so far…even paid to upgrade…totally worth it! I love it when people ask “how did you get your blackberry to do that?!?” Love the disco lights! Great company, I have a couple other apps and they are awesome as well!

  4. When I start BerryBuzz it has a popup before I enter that states, This version of BerryBuzz is not optimized for the Blackberry Storm. Please download version 4.7 from It allows you to go past the screen, and I see no compatibility issues. Has anyone else or can Bellshare give a heads up for us Storm users? Otherwise this is probably one of the best applications I have downloaded for my Blackberry!

  5. you need to download v.4.7 it`s optimized for the storm
