U2 Mobile Album Coming September 12th?
I enjoy U2’s music but this whole hype about a mobile album is kind of confusing. MobileSyrup got a tip that the Mobile U2 album that RIM has been pushing will be released on the opening night of their North American Tour which is Sep 12th. I am kind of curious as to what a mobile album will bring to the table… You can see some screenshots of the app that we extracted from the RIM teaser video at this link.
From the screenshots it is pretty easy to tell that the app is a little behind schedule. Screenshots show Berlin and other news from U2’s international tour…
This little tip jives perfectly with a thread that Josep let me know about on BBForums. It looks like U2 is going to be playing for RIM employees on Sep 16th. Hopefully we will get some pictures detailing exactly how badly RIM loves U2.
