Mastercontrolbeta The free BlackBerry Master Control Program has quickly become a must have tool for hardcore BlackBerry users. The main developer sgt-d let me know that they recently released a new updated beta of the tool which fixes the Windows 7 and Vista compatibility issues along with a host of other fixes and features listed below:

Main changes in Beta 9 since the last beta we mentioned

  • Full support for RIM Java Loader 5.0.0 Beta 3.
  • All dialog formatting (long sentence "wrapping") has been fixed for Windows Vista/7.
  • The option to check automatically for MCP Files (on the settings page) is now unchecked by default for clean installations.
  • Startup focus problem finally fixed!  Holy hell that was annoying!
  • PortableApps installer slightly fixed
  • Logging improvements
  • Welcome, About and Translations pages – images are now contained on one frame or "panel", and this panel now shifts to the center of the window if mcp is resized
  • Hotkey navigation

You can check out the full change log at this link or download it at www.mcpfx.com. Keep up the good work guys!
