Tashanna let me know about a new 99 cent app in the store that claims to show you how to tie a tie from your BlackBerry. That might be all well and good but personally I am never one to spend money when there is a free alternative.
I do my best to avoid ever wearing a tie, to my wife’s disdain, but every once in awhile I do have to wear a portable voluntary noose around my neck so it helps to refresh on the basics. I usually tie a Half Windsor Knot since my ties tend to be thicker and I wear wide collar shirts but sometimes I wear different shirts and ties to match one of my 7 suits. That is when I head on over to www.tie-a-tie.net to get some refreshers.
The website is not totally mobile friendly since there are YouTube videos and PDF’s that look better on your PC but it does work. You just need to set the site to column view by going to menu->column view and then scroll down to the instructions. You can also use page view and just get the right zoom level by using the I and O buttons to zoom in and out in smaller increments. Let me know what you think or if you have a better alternative.

Used to be worse. I used to only have a suit jacket that I lost the pants to before I got married. Before the wedding the wife made me buy 7 suits!
