Tashanna sent me a link to TmoNews which claims that a trusted source let them know that the 3G T-Mobile BlackBerry will be dropping sometime in the first week of November. TmoNews has been a pretty trusty source of rumors which is why I am mentioning it. This is big news since no BlackBerry to date has had the T-Mobile flavor of 3G since it runs on 1700Mhz which no other carrier in the world uses.
We got a look at this T-Mobile 9700 3G device back in August thanks to Kevin so it looks like the rumor mill is just starting on possible release dates.
Here is hoping that T-Mobile launches this soon!

I don’t see why tmo would release a BlackBerry without UMA is their bread and butter its what makes them different from other carriers.

Because it wasn’t TMo’s decision. Apparently RIM cannot make a device with 3G and UMA to work together. That’s why all devices up to now either have 3G or EDGE/UMA. Wifi is not the problem…its the UMA. They said they are close though.

Close though? Close though? They better be close enough to release 3G + UMA on this 9700 or it will be a mega fail!

Well, it should be released in Europe 1st… So, I’m curious as to when TMo will be pushing this device out over the next few weeks… (or perhaps another European provider)

The only way this will be the best BB ever is if it has GPS, WiFi, 3G, and UMA. If not, then the Bold still wins!!!

As the 9700 is the “Bold II” it will replace the Bold regardless, but it really should have all features you listed.

WOW AWESOME! Wish video had audio, but did you notice the USB port is at the top left rather than the 8900′s bottom right? I always thought it was dumb to have the USB port how the 8900 did it. I could not see clearly the side buttons. Also shows the trackpad, the sleek big battery cover, and OS 5.0.0.208.
