Verizon Lowers Storm Pricing to $50 – Storm 2 Definitely Brewing

storm2verizon Over the weekend Verizon lowered the price for the BlackBerry Storm to $49.99 with 2 year contract along with their still valid Buy One Get One promotion. This is definitely Verizon clearing stock out before the Storm 2 is announced and released. This is nothing crazy considering other outfits like Amazon and Wirefly have had it for free for quite awhile but still it is a sign of the times.

Bla1ze even spotted the fact that the latest Storm OS had a telltale leak of the Storm 2 user guide. That guide points out the already known inclusion of Wi-Fi but its good to hear.

Lastly the latest rumors on the forums across the web are setting the Storm 2 for release on Sep 29th for B2B and Oct 14th for regular retail. Check out the details at this link.

So what do you think? Are you holding off for a Storm 2?

  1. Do you think Sprint will ever carry the Storm?
