I know a few people running BES 4.1.X and Exchange 2007 SP2 with no issues, but BIS users are definitely having problems. I'm not sure if it's strictly a SP2 issue, but all of my colleagues who upgraded to SP2 lost BIS connectivity (BES and ActiveSync was unaffected). They can send but not receive. Like I said, I'm not sure if this is strictly an SP2 issue, or if they all have some common factor that is unrelated to SP2, but if you plan on upgrading, be sure to test BIS thoroughly!

I manage roughly a dozen different Exchange environments, as well as 4 BES environments, so of course this is interesting news to me. The link you provided is just about SP2, with no mention of BES issues. Where did you hear about possible issues?

Troll. After the comment, "I'm not hugely knowledgeable about BES and less knowledgeable about MS Exchange", it really doesn't take reading further to know that you are trolling.

Wow. Can you substantiate this wild rumor? Do you have absolutely any hard evidence that this will cause problems?
