Just got word from one of our readers that OS 5.0.0.154 for the BlackBerry storm 9530 has been leaked, I was able to install on my pc and it does show to be file 9530AllLang_v5.0.0.154_P4.2.0.21 but can’t confirm what is new and how it works as I do not own a storm.

Please post on the comments below what you find with this new version problems or how it works. Our normal warning to anyone that is not familiar with OS upgrades do not install this leak OS unless you know what you are doing, it may nuke your device, and always make sure you do a backup before installing. It sucks!!! Don’t bother!!! Even BBM 5.0 doesn’t work with this build!

It re-started on me 3 times. BB mess 5/0 did not work. and it would freeze when i tried to reinstall app world. so i went back to what i had. not worth it yet.

I downloaded and installed it last night.. Yes, I know it voids my warranty, but it is fun to experiment. The firmware is very Apple Iphoneish as the menus expand from the center of the screen. Because this is new I have found that the applications center will not populate and some downloaded applications will not run, so I will probably will be rolling back to the released firmware tonight.
