WebWall: Use a Website as your Storms Background

berrywall Awhile back I mentioned that it would be cool if there was an app that would let you have a dynamic background. I was talking more along the lines of RIM letting us edit our themes kind of like HTML or XML files but Volcari came up with a different take. They created WebWall.

WebWall is a simple application that lets you use any website as your Storm’s background. It updates as often as once an hour so you could have your favorite news or weather website as your background. Personally I took things a few steps further and tried creating my own website that would grab the information I wanted with the least amount of mess. The app is a bit pricy at $4.95 but it may be just what the doctor ordered. 🙂

So while this is not exactly what I was looking for it may be a step in the right direction… I know I used to use iGoogle as my active background on my netbook. Maybe the same would work for WebWall.
