The BlackBerry browser barely manages to hold a candle to WebKit and other smartphone browsers. O navegador do BlackBerry mal consegue segurar uma vela para browsers WebKit e outros smartphones. I would rather RIM fixed the essentials, like actually being able to have JavaScript enabled, before they start working on flash. Eu preferiria RIM fixa os fundamentos, como realmente ser capaz de ter o JavaScript habilitado, antes de começar a trabalhar em flash. Or even other useful features like tabbed browsing. Ou ainda outros recursos úteis como navegação por abas. I usually turn off flash with FlashBlock on my desktop so I cannot see why I would want it on my BlackBerry. Flash manages to bring Firefox to its knees so I can only imagine what it would do the the BlackBerry OS. Flash consegue trazer o Firefox para seus joelhos para que eu só posso imaginar o que faria o do BlackBerry OS. The only time I actually use it is for video streaming sites. A única vez que eu realmente usá-lo é para sites de vídeo streaming. Though Flash support might make for some fun browser based games. Apesar de apoiar o Flash pode fazer para alguns jogos baseados em browser divertido.

I hope this comes out before i reach 60, i'm now 40 years old? Espero que isso saia antes de eu chegar a 60, estou agora com 40 anos de idade?

I don't think that RIM can pull off speeding up the devices enough to make it palatable. Eu não acho que a RIM pode retirar os dispositivos de aceleração suficiente para torná-la palatável. And the required HSPA/LTE/WiMax networks needed aren't going to be anywhere close to widely deployed. I think I'm just sick and tired of operating system and hardware manufacturers trying to provide browsers. Eu acho que estou doente e cansado de sistema operacional e os fabricantes de hardware que tentam prever os navegadores. They provided updates only twice in the life of the device, and the updates don't fix half the bugs and don't make the system more user friendly. I'm waiting for a Firefox or a Chrome to replace my Blackberry browser. Eu estou esperando por um Firefox ou Chrome para substituir o meu navegador do Blackberry.

Also I don't think a lot of people who haven't used other mobile OSes realize how much of a curse/pita flash support can be. Também não acho um grande número de pessoas que não usaram outros sistemas operacionais móveis perceber o quanto de uma maldição / support / flash pita pode ser. It can actually detract from the browsing experience heavily in a lot of cases, rather than adding to it. Skyfire has Flash, and works quite well, why wouldnt a BB browser be able to do the same? Skyfire tem Flash, e funciona muito bem, por um navegador BB wouldnt ser capaz de fazer o mesmo? RIM has proxy servers, as Skyfire does, where the rendering takes place before being streamed to the device. RIM tem servidores proxy, como Skyfire faz, onde o processamento ocorre antes de ser transmitido para o dispositivo. Should be able to use the same concept. Deve ser capaz de usar o mesmo conceito.

  That's a different type of browser though. Isso é um tipo diferente de browser embora.

I agree. Eu concordo. Rim should first take care of the small things that it can do to make the current browser better before tackling such a huge undertaking. Rim deve primeiro cuidar das pequenas coisas que podemos fazer para tornar o navegador atual melhor antes de fazer face a uma grande empresa. I mean don't get me wrong, I live and die by my bold, but the browser is lacking at best. Quero dizer, não me interpretem mal, eu viver e morrer pela minha ousada, mas o navegador está faltando na melhor das hipóteses. I have to give it to RIM for being that optimistic that it will get it right within a year!!! Eu tenho que dar a RIM para ser tão otimista que ele vai acertar dentro de um ano! Lets hope so for their sake. Lets hope so por causa deles.
