Twitter Down/Unavailable Due to Ongoing DDoS – Resume Your Normal Life…
Looks like our beloved Twitter is being bombarded with a DDoS attack. DDoS is a distributed denial of service attack which is pretty easy to pull off and difficult to defend against for websites that are used by so many users. It essentially floods Twitters bandwidth with fake requests until it cannot handle any valid requests.
Just wanted to let you all know since I have been getting quite a few questions asking what’s up with Twitter. Best of luck to them!
