Nikolaus and Tashanna sent me a link to a new app from the popular flight and hotel search site Kayak. The app lets you search and book hotels with multiple airlines and hotel chains from your BlackBerry. Kayak even gives you the pricing trend for certain routes so you can see if you are getting a good deal.
I know this app would have been immensely useful when I was deciding where to take my wife for our anniversary and will definitely be keeping an eye out on flights to Peru for the winter. It can even be used to check flight status.

Great app….Ive been waiting for an app like this. It works really well. However I suggested two things to them. Have an option under flight status to search by route in case you don’t have the number on hand. And second, have an itinerary section to store you’re flight and hotel info so it is readily accessible on the app after you book it.
