Have a .Mil Email Address? You Can Skip the Google Voice Invite Line
I have a few colleagues in the military who will be glad to hear this little tidbit. Google let it be known that all users with a .mil email address will get priority Google Voice accounts when they sign up. Pretty nice of Google even though it is a smart strategic move.
Google is doing a great job of highlighting one of Google Voice’s strongest use cases. Military personnel are deployed all over the place making it hard for them to have one number where they can always be contacted. I know some that uses YouMail to get their voicemails but Google Voice adds good transcriptions, call hunting, AND free SMS.
