SmartestCover Wants You to “Feel” Your Storm’s Keyboard

smartestcover I am not sure what to make of SmartestCover. James spotted this little company that is selling a new screen cover for the Storm that provides touchable little nubs letting you know where your buttons are. Kind of like the little nubs on the F and J keys on a regular keyboard.

Now the interesting part is that you have to decide if you want a portrait (SureType) or landscape (qwerty) version of the screen protector. That means you need to decide which way you type and stick with it.

Its worth taking a look but their site is all flash so its a bit hard to navigate. They also only have 2 tiny pictures of the actual screen protector. $13.99 + $2.95 shipping gets you 3 covers.

  1. Nice catch. I was looking for that article but couldn’t find it. Now it is actually released.

    • Hello, I am not aure if you knew however I had sent a few samples to Summer Howell from Berryreview. She is writing a full review and organizing a giveaway. As you had noted there were only a few small pictures on the site. We added a few higher resolution pictures today. Thank you for the feedback!

  2. Seems this would interfere with swiping actions since the nubs would have to cover half the screen!
Plus for landscape you would have to decide hard keys on left or hard keys on right.

  3. David,
What a great concern! Thankfully we have spent months on development, and after many tweaks to the design we have a product that does not effect the use of your phone in any way other than to make it better. Check out this thread, and see what people who have used are saying

  4. Brilliant! I cannot believe no one has thought of this before!
