BlackBerry App World Starting to (Partially) Work in Other Countries???
We know that RIM has promised to launch the BlackBerry App World by the end of the month but it is already the 27th and we have seen no official announcement.
The weird part is that I am getting reports that the App World is already working in some countries on some carriers with different features. The weird part is that it looks like the App World is showing up in English…
- Venezuela – Movistar seeing Free/Trial apps
- Venezuela – Digitel seeing Paid apps
- Spain (Not sure what carrier) Free apps
- Italy (Not sure what carrier) Free apps
Thanks to Stefano, Josep, and Felix for bringing this to my attention!
RIM claims it will be available in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Luxemburg, Portugal, the Netherlands and Belgium – and support more languages, including French, Italian, Spanish and German.
Personally I just cant wait for the links to the App World apps to start working from the BlackBerry Browser! Let us know what else you find below if it is working for you!
