Nogago: Free GPS Outdoor Navigation Tracking
Nogago let me know about their free application that lets you track your outdoor activities. Its pretty cool for a free app but there are already other solutions that offer similar features. The cool feature in Nogago is the ability to navigate along prerecorded tracks from the many GPS track communities online.
Features include:
- Measure the time, distance and speed of your travels
- Record and view your tracks (while on the go and later when you are back home on your PC)
- Navigate along prerecorded tracks (you can find many, many thousands of tracks at gpsies and other GPS track communities)
There is one catch. They require that you fill out a simple 10 question survey before downloading which is annoying but you can put in whatever you want. After the survey you get OTA and desktop manager links.
