BigHand Offering Law Firms 30 Free Trial of Dictation Software
Now this is an interesting twist for law firms. BigHand has a popular Dictation application that lets you record and send audio from your BlackBerry. They are now offering a 30 day free trial which includes BlackBerrys, software, & 30 days of free unlimited dictation.
It looks like BigHand is really rolling out the red carpet to law firms. I know the current economy is really putting a crunch on lawyers but this trial offer may really help land some new customers for BigHand.
Now imagine if RIM would join up with carriers to start offering such a trial. 30 days of free BES including BlackBerrys and maybe even unlimited usage. This could really get companies hooked on their BlackBerrys… I know that Verizon and a few others already do such offers for large companies but what about smaller shops. Also it could be interesting to see other angles on such a trial like Garmin or TeleNav offering such a deal.
