Dataviz has finally decided to offer a discount on the crazy $69.99 price for Documents To Go. They sent me an email offering the Premium edition for $29.99 until July 31st. That is 57% off! The only problem is that the email is specifically tailored to my account so I cannot share it. The regular price on the website is still showing as $69.99.
I am not sure if it is even worth $29.99 but if you were planning on picking it up anyways or were just waiting for it to drop in price you may want to check your email. You might even be able to contact their customer support and say you got the email…
Personally I hope that the permanently lower the price since $70 is a steep price to pay to edit documents every once in awhile.

I also received that e-mail. It must go to whatever e-mail you provided if you registered the free version.

I agree with Nikolaus and Corinne, this is for every user which download free trial, and later dataviz send this email with lower price.

I have that e-mail and it only allows that discount for DocToGo Premium running on OS 4.7 (I had a Storm at the time of that particular registration). I’m using a Bold now and when I go to the website (NOT via the emailed link), I see a discounted price of ten dollars more. Does the link appear to give that discount for only DTG Prem running OS 4.7? Or does it take some of you to a 4.6 compliant version?

I’m a registered user but I can’t get the discounted price – I probably selected to not receive email from them. I will buy it at this price when I figure a way to get it.

Just got the email from them, but seems to me that the version will not work on OS 5.0, anyone with info on that?

Bah, I won’t bother upgrading until they offer native support for the OpenDocument Formats (ODF), such as OpenDocument Sheet (“.ods”) and OpenDocument Text (“.odt”)…
Until then, I’ll stick with the free version.
