Bell Trying to Get BlackBerry Tour Out Before TELUS – Maybe July 13th~14th?
I heard from one of our secret agents, PG at Bell, that Bell will be shipping the BlackBerry Tour to their stores as soon as it arrives. It is expected to start hitting stores on July 13th or 14th. Stores have been told to sell them as soon as they arrive in order to beat TELUS to the punch.
The price will be $249 for new accounts and eligible upgrade customers and no contract pricing will be $699.
The July 13-14th date is a few days earlier than the rumored July 17th date for Bell but brings it in a day or two before the rumored July 15th launch on TELUS.
Interesting… So who will be running off to the carrier who has it first?
