Sprint Getting Inferno Orange 8330 & Red 8350i… Does Anybody Care?

Username dropped this little tidbit in our forums about two new upcoming colors for the Sprint Curves. The 8330 will be available in Inferno orange starting 7/9 (Soft Launch) and the 8350i will be getting a red color starting 7/30 (Soft Launch).

I am not sure who is going to be picking these devices up after the Tour launches… Or if anybody cares. I know the 8330 won’t go away overnight but I know people are dying to upgrade their CDMA Curves after being teased with the Bold & 8900…

Not sure why the Tour is showing with 3 different launch dates not including the July 12th date they have already announced… Any ideas Username?

I don’t really care! I want my tu tu Tour and in different colours too.I’m getting tired of RIM,§ standard black, grey and silver!

Why the hell can’t RIM launch custom colors simultaneously with the main launch? I would have preferred Red over Silver, but RIM would have had me waiting (and still using my 7100i) for 6 months between 8830 Silver launch versus 8830 Red launch.

That said, the Inferno Orange is “hot” but like you said who in their right mind would buy one with the Tour on the street 3 days later??? Now the Red 8350i I can see selling well, since there is no other known iDEN product coming those who are wed to Nextel Direct Connect will at least have some bit of “choice”.
