BlackBerrytourverizondate The rumor mill is whipping up a storm trying to nail down what the “summer 2009” release date of the Tour will be. The latest two dates to drop are the 12th of July for Verizon and the 20th of July for Sprint. The BoyGenius also scored a pic showing the release price being $199.99 but who knows.

So are you salivating for your Tour? I know quite a few Curve users who cannot wait!

As much as I have liked my 8830 WE, I can’t wait for this phone to hit stores. My Sprint rep offered to hold one for me when he gets them in, but he’s been tight-lipped about price and release date thus far.

Curve users? Hell, anyone with a 8830 bought at launch 2 years ago must be salivating! I know I can’t wait. Unfortunately most Verizon Curve users are not going to be even close to end of contract to qualify for that price, Curve only launched on CDMA about a year ago.
So, what we need is news of a “no camera” Tour since there are so many who will have to stick with their 8703 or 8830 if RIM provides no camera-less option.
