Call Informer: Sales Tool Gives You More Information on Incoming Calls
Tim let me know about this slick new application called Call Informer. It is intended as a sales tool but I can see it being useful in multiple situations. It provides you with an easy way to identify a call before you pick it up. For example, you can write call notes about a caller and then when you receive a call you will see that information. I think the most useful information it shows you is the date they last called you along with the date you last called them. They app also lets you easily send a SMS to the caller from the same screen in case you want to tell them you are in a meeting or something.
Call informer will also show you the:
- Caller Name
- Organization
- Number (inc. type such as Home, Work, Mobile etc)
- Contact Notes (and previous call notes)
- the date/time of the last time this contact called you
- the date/time of the last time you called them
The app is a bit pricey at $9.50 in the store but I think the price is easily justified if you can bill it as a business expense. 
Personally I was surprised to find that the app works on devices as old as the 7250 and any device with OS 4.1+.
