eWallet 6.1.4 Adds Storm Support & Other Improvements

Developer: Ilium Software Cost: $19.95-29.95

ewallet Ilium Software let me know that together with WebIS they have updated eWallet for BlackBerry. The biggest new feature is support for the Storm but also included is:

  • Get synced up fast: Improved behavior for first-time syncing makes it simple to set up and get your data where you need it.
  • Find any card in no time: With faster scroll speeds you can browse through your cards quickly and get right to the info you need.
  • Keep intruders away in a snap: It’s easier than ever to lock your wallet files and protect your info.
  • Search smarter: Use Quick Search and find what you’re looking for fast.

eWallet comes in a two different flavors. The standard edition is the standalone BlackBerry app while the professional version adds desktop sync. Personally I am not a big fan of charging for upgrades if you owned a previous version before 6.0 but I guess that is the developers prerogative to charge current customers.

The standard edition is going for $19.95 now and the professional version is $29.95. That may seem pretty steep but for some reason that is the going rate for similar apps like SplashID. I guess we can only wait for one of them to hit the sweet price point of $5-10.
