BBFileScout 1.0 Released: Donationware File Manager Out of Beta
Tom let me know that BBFileScout 1.0 has been released. Until now the very popular donationware app was in public beta but now it is at a full version number. Nothing really sticks out in this latest update but now it is more of a rounded out and tested product. The app is free to download but the developer is asking users to donate as much as they think the application is worth.
What’s new in version 1.0:
- Options reorganized – on BlackBerry® devices it’s quite common to separate the application options into various screens – this makes the options way more organized and easier to understand.
See also the updated BBFileScout options documentation. - Path entry fields (Startup Path, Thumbnail Storage & Playlist Directory) show now an additional button that allows you to browse in the file system to make an appropriate selection (in the past this was only possible via the menu)
You can read more at this link or download the app OTA here.
