Google Voice Reserves 1 Million Phone Numbers with Level 3

googlevoiceAs we told you earlier today all the signs are pointing to Google Voice going public soon. I read on NetworkWorld that Google reserved 1 million phone numbers with Level 3 last month. That is a pretty big indicator that they are planning on rolling this out soon but no word on when they will assign these numbers.

So does anybody else think that 1 million sounds a bit low?

  1. I have no need for this. Google was funded with CIA seed money you know. Looks like additional control over people to me.

If a previous article is true… and GV will allow porting your number. Then 1 million sounds like a good number
