I have downloaded the 282 and tried to update. It states I have a newer os already . mine shows as 266. I have delted the vendor file. Am I doing something wrong. Please Help. Many thanks Tye

What kind of version you need from DM to get this on the Bold? I cant seem to get it, i get some sort of message stating that my phone doesnt have any software download. Can Someone Please Help? ty

why is it that every time i try to download the file it only works for 20 min and then there is an error in the setup initialization file?

I’m now using this release of the OS and it seems very fast plus the 2G/3G feature mentioned above.
There are two issues (meanwhile) that I’ve found.
1. When taking a call, and exiting the phone screen to the main screen (or to any other screen for that…) you can only see that a call is in process but not how long you’re on the phone.
2. While Tethering Using the ACM (at&t communications manager) you will not be getting data on your BlackBerry for some reason… meanwhile I will be downgrading, hope to see a new OS very soon (can’t wait for 5.0)

But the OS upgrade works fine. I can’t wait for the official 5.0 upgrade. Come on RIM! We are dying for it, especially the SureType stuff.

I miss that feature; I loved it with my Treo 750.

Got it loaded, in the US, seems fast. I was hoping it would fix my problem seeing BlackBerry Maps. Nope. I still cannot see/use BB Maps, and I have tried EVERYTHING!
