Documents To Go 1.007 Released – Fixes Chart Issues… Again

documentstogoWilliam and Robbie  let me know that Docs To Go was updated to version 1.007.042. Nothing really crazy new other than fixes for existing charts in Word and PowerPoint files and other various bugs!!! YAY! That sounds almost exactly like the update (1.007.036) they released on May 6th.

Sorry its is just hard getting excited about a maintenance release upgrade. On the other hand since everybody with a recent BlackBerry has Documents To Go I thought it was still worth mentioning. Even DataViz sent out a email about this incremental update. Sadly this version still does not support OS 5.0.0.100 but PDF to Go does work for some reason…

To update just follow these instructions:

  1. Open any Documents To Go application, for example: Word To Go
  2. Open the application menu
  3. Choose "Check for Updates"
  4. Follow the instructions provided on our mobile web site.

I tried the update and it said I already have the latest version of Docs to Go (1.007). When I looked at my App list, it shows I have 1.007.036. How do I get .042??

  3. As to the fact that PDF To Go DOES work with OS v5.0.0.100 and the other Documents To Go apps DO NOT, could it be related to the fact that PDF To Go is provided to DataViz by Cerience (the developer for RepliGo Reader)?!? ;-)
