8310 OS 4.5.0.163 Officially Released by O2 UK

Older Curves have been left out in the cold when it comes to recent OS releases. They are still stuck with the memory leaks but RIM has been much slower in updating them. Raptor464 Let me know that the 8310 just got some official update love from O2 UK. The latest version 4.5.0.163 is newer than even the leaked version .153 we told you about at the beginning of the month.

NOTE: Don’t forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device.

    Now of course I read this a day AFTER I installed it on my 8310. What exactly will the problem(s) be if that file wasn’t deleted?

  2. I download both version, removed both vendor files and still can’t get my DM to see either one of them when I search for update. I have 4.5.0.153 now and was just trying to update to the newest available
