OS 5.0.0.100 just made its way onto the interwebs courtesy of our buddy Kevin. This is an update from the 5.0.0.93 that was found previously. This hopefully fixes some of the bugs found in .93. Also developers now finally have the tools to develop for OS 5.0 so maybe this time it will be better?
Hopefully RIM will be releasing a stable build soon since there are a ton of features in OS 5.0 that really can make it worth your while! Let me know how it goes.
NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.

Someone on CrackBerry said Facebook 1.6 and the Browser doesn’t work, so I’m not messing with it. Pretty much the same undesirables as the .93 version.

BTW, if it still doesn’t run facebok and now, even worst, it doesn’t run the browser itself….don’t even worth a download.

This file is suspected to contain illegal content and has been blocked. After the file has been blocked for 7 days it will automatically be deleted, if the block is not removed by RapidShare. For this reason, a download of this file is currently not possible.

I am very happy with this release.
I am on BES and the browser is much quicker now, less start delay. Media player is much improved and a bug that meant I could not hear my text messages arriving has also been fixed. Can’t comment on facebook as I don’t use it.
At last a good working release!
Get it in.
