As it turns out, you can do the same thing with my ExtraLight &quot;flashlight&quot; app, also free. Turn it on, turn it off, and your LED is dark again. If you want a 2-in-1 app, grab ExtraLight here:

		<description>How is this app for the truly lazy? I think its a great temporary solution for people who have to put up with their BB blinking when there are no messages or missed calls to view. For example, every now and then, my 8900 blinks the red LED even after I&#039;ve viewed all my messages and or missed calls. Its kind of annoying to have the LED blink when its not supposed to. Again, this app takes care of it. Also, it can help preserve battery life instead of having your BB blink virtually forever or until you power cycle your BB</description>
