FLASHBACK! What RIM Advertisements Looked Like in The Early 90s
RobertF shared with me some great flashback material that gave me a look into how RIM advertised their products back in the 90s. He sent me three different ads ranging from 1990 to 1992. I really could not get over the last ad that tells you to contact Mike Lazaridis for more information…
Let me know if you have any others!
The ads are for RIM’s Mobitex Protocol Converter, KeyKode IBM PC Interface Card, & the Mobilib-plus Mobitex API. Robert gathered them together for Alistair Sweeny, a historian and tech writer, who is writing a book on RIM to be released in August. You can check out his first chapter, which is extremely well researched, at this link.
