   Or RIM will simply sell it to carriers for them to resell to consumers and make a profit on it just like they do now. Oder RIM wird es verkaufen, um sie zu Trägern für die Verbraucher zu verkaufen und einen Gewinn auf sie wie sie es jetzt tun. You didn't think the carriers rolled their own navigation app and service, did you? Sie glaubte nicht, daß die Träger gewalzt eigene Navigation app und Service, nicht wahr? They're simply reselling the products and services of Networks in Motion and TeleNav with customizations for their network. Sie sind einfach Weiterverkauf der Produkte und Dienstleistungen von Netzwerken in Motion und TeleNav mit Anpassungen für ihr Netz. There's no reason RIM couldn't do the same thing, but with a much better BlackBerry user experience. Es gibt keinen Grund RIM nicht dasselbe tun, sondern mit einem viel besseren BlackBerry User Experience.

   RIM just responded to me and confirmed that they did purchase Dash RIM reagiert nur auf mich zu und bestätigt, dass sie Dash Kauf nicht

   I think it was an excellent move on RIM's part. Ich glaube, es war ein hervorragender Schachzug von RIM. I use VZ Navigator on my Curve, and I think navigation on cell phones is becoming a fast growing area in the mobile world. Ich benutze VZ Navigator auf meinem Curve, und ich denke, Navigation auf Mobiltelefonen entwickelt sich zu einem schnell wachsenden Bereich der mobilen Welt. I know I wouldn't be without it. Ich weiß, ich würde nicht ohne sie. And I bet RIM and Dash come up with the some pretty cool navigation solutions for our BlackBerries. Und ich wette, RIM und Dash kommen, mit dem ein paar ziemlich coole Navigations-Lösungen für unsere Brombeeren.

   I so wanted a Dash for the “networked” aspects, then I changed employer and started working from home and couldn't justify the price when I'm not in rush hour traffic to get the benefit. Ich wollte so ein Dash für die "vernetzte" Aspekte, dann habe ich den Arbeitgeber gewechselt und arbeitete von zu Hause aus und konnte den Preis nicht rechtfertigen, wenn ich nicht im Stau, die Nutzen daraus ziehen.

   I think RIM is at a crossroads with LBS. Ich denke, RIM ist an einer Kreuzung mit der LBS. Almost all their devices now have GPS, and this gives app developers a wide target audience. Fast alle ihre Geräte nun GPS, und das gibt ca. Entwickler eine breite Zielgruppe. Combine that with carriers loosening their GPS restrictions. Kombiniert man dies mit Luftfahrtunternehmen Lockerung ihrer GPS-Beschränkungen. I too hope RIM has the stones to stand up to the carriers, heck, maybe we are already seeing that with the Storm? Auch ich hoffe, RIM hat die Steine, um gegen die Träger, Heck, vielleicht sind wir schon sehen, dass mit dem Sturm? So anyway, RIM has to decide if they want to really push the “BlackBerry” brand and make their platform MORE carrier independent, or become just another maker of devices such as an HTC. Wie auch immer, hat RIM zu entscheiden, ob sie wirklich die "BlackBerry" Push-Marke und ihre Plattform Mehr Sony Ericsson unabhängigen, oder werden nur ein weiterer Hersteller von Geräten wie ein HTC. Evidence is the former, so let's keep our fingers crossed!! Der Nachweis ist der ehemalige, also lasst uns die Daumen drücken!
