Been having problems for the past couple of hours in Atlanta, GA. Seems to have gotten better in the past half-hour or so.
I did talk to AT&T about it and they too confirmed problems…altho the rep I spoke with wasn’t sure if it was RIM or AT&T.

So tired of being underwhelmed by RIM on service and features for BB. Frankly, there are many better options out there. This does it for me! Bye bye RIM!

I’m having problems with Sprint BIS in Southern Utah. It sucks that it’s down, but good to know it’s RIM’s fault and not my phone. I was worried because upgraded my phone’s OS today to 4.5.0.160 from Telus Mobility and thought it was giving me problems.

My BIS browser wasn’t working around 5:30 EST, but FaceBook and Google Maps seemed fine. I didn’t think much of it, and needed to mow the grass anyway, now it’s working again. Oh yeah, Sprint 8830 WE, northern Cincinnati area

I am actually trying to figure out how such a widespread degradation occurred. RIM really could care less that we are without BIS and only tells their top level customers what is happening.
Let me know if anybody finds out the root cause.

I was having a ton of issues. Slow browser, delayed email delivery, plus I discovered all of this while trying to mess with my email accts on the T-Mobile website (and on phone). Took about 45 minutes to do something that should have taken 3.
