If the predefined AutoTexts meet your needs, great! The macros are intended to be used to create customized AutoText shortcuts.

On my Verizon 8830, “mypin”, “mynumber”, and “myver” autotexts are mapped to their respective macros (%P, %p, and %V respectively) so it makes it a little bit easier than typing/remembering the macro.
