After AT&T announced that they will be releasing the 8900 this summer it finally has it for sale online. Expect to see it in stores in the next few weeks. I just love how AT&T lists two of its main features as “Striking Design”
.
It is going for $199.99 with a new contract after a $100 mail in rebate which I hate. The no-commitment price is $449.99 but that’s not unheard of. So is anybody changing their Bold for a new Curve???
Thanks to everybody who sent this one in!

I have one of each, and in my opinion the 8900 is inferior to the Bold. The 8900 is slower in every aspect, and the only selling point I can see is it’s smaller form factor.

I thought about swapping my bold for the new curve, but it would be downgrading in my opinion. No 3g, no video messaging, etc. While it would be nice to have a new phone, I wouldn’t be happy with my decision to swap out for the new curve.
The bold is still the best blackberry out there. I’ll pass on this one, and wait for a true successor to the bold!
