superpages SuperPages.com let me know that they now have full support for the Storm in their free application. Along with that they have introduced a cool new feature where you can give the businesses a thumbs up or thumbs down rating. You can also read reviews and submit reviews. You can search by keyword or category to find business information and scroll through the results with a cool expanding feature. I find it really cool that you can upload a picture you took of the place like the food you ate at a diner. Cool idea!

Features include:

  • Add Photos: Did your food taste as good as it looked? Take a snap shot before you chow down and upload it when you rate your experience.
  • Find Movies Fast: Search by movie or theater and see show times, read reviews, watch trailers or browse movie posters.
  • Get Directions: Get step-by-step interactive driving directions with an option to have multiple stops on the way to your destination.
  • Locate Local WiFi Hotspots: Find free and pay-for-use WiFi hotspots near you.
  • See your local five-day forecast with current conditions, conduct a reverse lookup of people or businesses and access your My Superpages account to easily see your previous searches.

The application is free and can be picked up by heading to www.superpages.com from your BlackBerry and clicking “Download BlackBerry App” at the top of the page.

        What do you mean by that Ted? It works fine on my Storm, other than the locating by CellID (which I suspect is due to Verizon somehow).

          let me say this that I have used this app for a couple months and really like…. it did work fine…..but it seems since the update I have these problems……

          1 wont go to landscape view at all
          2 hangs up constantly
          3 view is smaller than before
          4 can not take keyboard down

          I use os .141

            Dude. You’re going on every site looking silly. Learn about disabling compatibility mode and your keyboard and landscape problems will be solved. This is beginner Storm knowledge.

            I’m on .148 ted and those 4 problems don’t happen for me. Dunno if its OS (doubt it based on 141>148 change log) or something you’ve done on your end.
