Larry let me know that Stitcher was released earlier this month as a free streaming audio application for BlackBerry. You can choose to stream selected podcasts, radio shows, and news to your BlackBerry on demand. This includes some cool feature partners like the Wall Street Journal. Not sure how limited the selection is and if you can add your own streams but Fox News and MSNBC is pretty nice.
Sadly it looks like this is now only available for the 8300 Curve Series devices and the Bold officially but Storm support is coming soon
It is definitely worth checking out at www.stitcher.com and it looks like you can pick it up OTA at the same link. Let me know what you think!

You said it is available on the Curve but I just tried on my 8900 and get a blank “Coming Soon” page. I am getting so tired of apps that work for Bold but not the 8900!

Sorry guys just fixed it. Also I didnt notice it only included the 8300 8310 and 8320. Kind of weird. Maybe you can try it and see how it goes?

I tried it on the 8300 — works great! New fave app, and a great companion to Pandora, another of my favorites.

Their site lets you know what models are supported. I know Stitcher said that other models, including the 8900 will be coming out shortly. So many phones! Great great content though, constantly updating. Super easy to use and navigate. I am really enjoying it on my 8320.
