Rumor: Verizon to Start Loving Wi-Fi? No More Click-able Touchscreens?!?
DavidB let me know that the BoyGenius got some credible looking tips about Verizon’s upcoming BlackBerry line. I advise taking them with a grain of salt but I thought it would be a cold day in hell before Verizon released a BlackBerry with Wi-Fi. This tipster is saying that all Verizon Berrys after the Tour will have Wi-Fi including a BlackBerry Atlas which will be a Tour with Wi-Fi added… While it wont be the first time RIM has created a new device just to add Wi-Fi or GPS but I though that was old news.
It also looks like the Storm 2 will do away with the SurePress “Clicky” touchscreens in favor of something like a localized Haptic touchscreen but personally I don’t think RIM will do that… Oh and by the way it looks like Verizon may FINALLY release the 8230 after everybody else.
